This is a 32 year old cosmetic surgery patient from Temecula who has been dealing with severe acne for years. The patient presented us with concerns about active cystic acne and skin discoloration as a result of acne scars. She had been treated by a dermatologist for approximately 15 years and had been prescribed every oral and topical medication to combat acne, including Accutane. The patient had also resorted to IPL treatments, dermabrasions, facials and TCA peels with no results. She came to our office to try the Vi Peel as another possible method to control her acne. To her surprise and pleasure, the Vi Peel (series of three treatments) both cleared up her active acne and bleached out her hyperpigmented skin, leading to a fresh and great-looking complexion.
