Pole Dancing Like You Have Never Seen Before

Sunday, May 19th, 2013

If you’re like most women, you want to achieve a svelte figure not just for yourself – but to look and feel your very best. After all, as most women can attest, grabbing your favorite jeans and having them feel too tight is one of the worst feelings in the world!

So what kind of women are the ideal version of “fit”? Well, according to Forbidden Knowledge TV, one of the fittest and svelte women are none other than pole dancers – that’s right, the women who know how to canoodle the pole at gentleman clubs.

Watch the incredible video here and see why pole dancers are some of the most trim-n-fit ladies out there.

Why Are Pole Dancers So Fit?

It goes without saying that pole dancers are trim because of the intense exercises they perform on the pole. Between leg lifts, ab and core workouts, and amazing arm holds, these pole dancers are super muscular without looking too built or masculine. It’s just pure femininity.

So, what does Dr. Kincaid have to say about these dancers?

There is no excess fat or obesity in pole dancers!

Exercise is good for all of us and helps keeps us slim and trim!

Plus frequent and regular exercise is the single most important anti-aging regime there is!

And, he’s right! At the end of the day, frequent activity is one of the best ways to look and feel great without excess pounds that can weigh you down – both emotionally and physically.

Can’t Lose the Pounds?

If you’re having a hard time dropping extra pounds, liposuction in San Diego may be an option for you. Liposuction is an especially useful procedure for stubborn fat in the lovehandle, buttock or saddlebag area – parts of the body that can be resistant to exercise and proper eating.

To talk to Dr. Kincaid about liposuction, and to see if you’re a good candidate for this very effective procedure, call our La Jolla office at  858-450-4199.

Men finally admit: “I’d like my wife to get plastic surgery”

Monday, April 22nd, 2013

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so when it comes to personal appearance, we all have our different likes and dislikes. But despite preferences like hair or eye color, one thing is for certain: most men prefer their partner to look feminine and beautiful – at least that’s what a new survey published at The Inquisitr says.

According to the news source, one UK-based website asked all the questions women have wanted to know since the dawn of time: are my breasts large enough? What about my saddlebags and tummy?

Turns out, a lot of men want those areas perfected, whether it’s by breast augmentation surgery or liposuction. According to the survey, nearly a quarter of all 1,248 men who participated in the survey said they secretly hoped their partner would undergo plastic surgery to improve their appearance.

When asked, “What surgical enhancement do you think would improve your partner’s looks the most?” most men said they preferred their partner to consider liposuction by 57 percent. Next, the ever-popular breast augmentation came in at 49 percent. Corrective dental surgery was the third most popular response coming in at 42 percent.

Of the men who answered yes, only 12 percent would actually admit it to their partner. Even more surprisingly, the majority of those who wouldn’t admit to it said they wouldn’t bring it up because, despite surgery, it wouldn’t be enough to improve their overall look.

In the United States, over 20,000 liposuctions were completed in 2012 according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Liposuction is the fourth-most popular plastic surgery treatment in America.

What’s the number one procedure here in the United States?

Breast augmentation with over 286,000 procedures completed in 2012.

If you are like many women (and men for that matter), you may have considered breast augmentation surgery and liposuction – or both – at some point in your life. Whether you considered plastic surgery after having had a baby or if it has been something you’ve always wanted to do, now is the time to discuss cosmetic enhancement with your plastic surgeon in San Diego.

Dr. Kincaid, an award-winning plastic surgeon specializing in breast augmentation and liposuction, is skilled at giving women the natural look they desire while improving the aesthetics of their body. For more information on either of these procedures, call our La Jolla office today at  858-450-4199 and schedule your consultation.

Lipoplasty is the most sought plastic surgery procedure in the world

Friday, January 18th, 2013

The battle of the bulge has proven its popularity now that Outpatient Magazine announced that lipoplasty is the most common plastic surgery procedure in the world. Lipoplasty, the liquefaction and removal of unwanted fat cells, represents nearly 20 percent of total plastic surgeries in the world. The United States, China, Brazil and Italy mark the countries where lipoplasty is most highly sought.

The report was announced by the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery earlier this month. ISAPS used a survey of 20,000 plastic surgeons to determine the most popular procedure in the world in 2011. According to Outpatient Magazine, “The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery assisted with the study, which had 996 respondents.”

Other frequently requested procedures included breast augmentation which followed closely behind at 18.9 percent of all requested procedures while blepharoplasty came in at 11 percent. Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck), rhinoplasty (nose job), breast lift, breast reduction, facelift, gynecomastia reduction (male breast reduction), and otoplasty (ear surgery) were also popularly requested procedures in 2011.

The leading non-surgical procedure was Botox.

LIPOPLASTY SURGERY IN SAN DIEGO – HOW DOES IT WORK?

For men and women who want a slimmer, sleeker shape, lipoplasty may be the answer. Lipoplasty works beneath the skin’s surface to liquefy and remove stubborn fat cells. Lipoplasty is an enhancement to its popular sister liposuction, but works by ultrasonic technology instead. It liquefies fat while liposuction cannot. According to WebMD, lipoplasty uses high-frequency sound waves to melt fat beneath the skin’s surface. It is then removed by gentle suction.

Lipoplasty is commonly used on the chin, neck, tummy, legs, buttocks and ankles.

The first step in understanding if lipoplasty is right for you is to schedule a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon in San Diego specializing in lipoplasty.

For more information on this procedure and to schedule your consultation, call Dr. Kincaid at his centrally located La Jolla office at 858-450-4199. Lipoplasty is a generally safe and effective way to remove unwanted fat and renew your shape. Call us today and see what lipoplasty can do for you.

Two identities: Chasing stardom through plastic surgery

Tuesday, January 15th, 2013

How many of us can say we share the same name as a celebrity? Of those who can actually say they do, how many would elect to have plastic surgery to look like their name twin?

The answer is probably very few. But a girl with the name Jennifer Lopez took the moniker to heart, idolizing the Latin pop princess and even getting plastic surgery to look like the sexy singer.

Lopez, now 23, talks to The Sun as reported by the Huffington Post of her $16,000 plastic surgery at the tender age of just 15 years old.

“I felt like there was nothing about me — no boobs or bum, no defined figure. I just felt like a blob,” she told the news source.

Then-teen Lopez and her mother flew to her native Colombia to undergo liposuction, breast implants and buttock fillers in one day. Her goal? To look like Jennifer Lopez – the superstar.

“I love everything about her — her music, her image, her personality. She’s a really strong, successful, independent woman who is an excellent role model for girls,” Jennifer told The Sun. “Even after having kids she still looks incredible. We may share a name, but I can only hope to look that good at her age,” she added.

Jennifer says she doesn’t regret getting the surgery and says she now has an improved self-image.

“Since having my surgery, I’ve had so much attention from men. I love it.”

Jennifer’s sister Karen also underwent the same procedures. Her curves unexpectedly captured the attention of the opposite sex more than she expected.

“My bum is so big now but it’s kind of a curse because guys in clubs always want to have a feel of it. Even girls want a photo next to it. My body attracts everyone — I get too much attention and it annoys me,” Karen told The Sun.

She added, “Women with bigger bums are seen as more attractive. The bigger and rounder, the better. I’ve got the perfect body now. The more I gain weight, the bigger my bum gets.”

As for their age, both sisters agree they should have waited until they were older.

“I was too young, especially for the boob job,” said Karen. “When I have a daughter, I’ll make her wait till she’s at least 18.”

“I was still only a child,” her sister added.

Kelly Osbourne comments on her incredible 60 lbs weight loss

Friday, December 21st, 2012

Losing weight is hard – any woman can agree to that. Not only is weight loss difficult, but keeping the weight off is also a challenge. That’s why Britain’s Cosmopolitan BODY magazine has applauded Kelly Osbourne, 28, in their latest issue for her incredible 60 lbs weight loss. The reality star is now looking hotter than ever.

“People think I lost weight and that’s what made me happier. That’s not true: I had to learn to love myself first,” Osbourne tells the magazine. “Losing weight was just one benefit of putting the hard work in and sorting myself out on the inside first through therapy,” Osbourne explains. “That was one of the scariest times of my life. I swear I’ve never felt more naked, because I had to actually be me and couldn’t mask it.”

Osbourne has a lot to celebrate these days. In love with boyfriend Matthew Mosshart, the young starlet explains that while life is good, it wasn’t without hard work. She doesn’t opt for fatty foods, but does allow herself an occasional slice of pizza or chocolate cake. And as for staying active, Osbourne says keeping active is the key is keeping the weight off.

“When I started exercising I couldn’t even do one sit-up,” Osbourne said. “By the end of the first week I could do three, and that was a big deal. Now I work out every day and I just don’t feel good if I miss it. It’s amazing how quickly your fitness builds, but you have to really want it.”

Many woman can easily relate – once an exercise habit starts, it becomes increasingly easier to keep activity going.

“I put on my [Zac Posen] dress, and when I looked at myself in the mirror I cried. Never in my life did I think that Zac Posen would fly in a dress for me that he could have given to any nominee. It fit me perfectly!”

Holidays can put on the pounds

Wednesday, November 21st, 2012

When it comes to celebrating the holidays, nothing really rings in the season better than food and drink. And while there’s nothing wrong with indulging during this festive time, the sad truth is that weight gain during the holiday is the norm for most men and women.

The plus side – no pun intended! – is that weight gain during the holidays can give you an extra boost of inspiration come the new year. But before you go packing on the extra pounds, here are a few reasons why weight gain happens, and what to do to avoid it.

Weight gain culprits

Holiday beverages

Between the holiday parties and the at-home festivities, putting on weight during the holiday can commonly occur when enjoying a variety of beverages. Alcohol, mixers, and rich beverages like hot cocoa and eggnog can cause extra calories to rack up. And with an excess of calories comes the dreaded weight gain. So, if you can help it, limit your beverages during the holidays and consider only enjoying no more than two beverages during any given party.

Dessert

Life is short – eat dessert! Well, that’s a great philosophy, but unless you want to spend hours on a treadmill, considers limiting your sweet tooth. During the holidays, desserts are abounding, so it’s easy to overindulge and eat your over-share of sweets. Keep the weight off by limiting yourself to just one dessert option at each party or celebration.

Why we eat during the holidays

Whether it’s celebrating a holiday or just having a good time, there’s no doubt that this time of year leads to a lot of eating for everyone. But according to reports at the Boston Globe, stress and other holiday strains like finances or in-laws can lead to over-eating.

This time of year, gyms are usually empty and leafy greens are usually not a part of our diet. So, between the sparse exercise and the poor diet, our bodies are usually left with several extra pounds. But beyond the weight itself, make note of why you’re actually eating.

Is it because of a stressful environment?

Could it be something else that’s causing you to overeat?

We eat during the holidays not only to enjoy ourselves, but many times to divert stress. Make sure your festivities include the food and drink – but also be cautious to not overdo it.

When weight loss is a problem

After countless holiday seasons, sometimes the weight racks up. In cases where diet and exercise aren’t producing the results you want, consider other alternatives to losing the weight. Body sculpting techniques like liposuction are great ways to reduce unwanted fat in problem areas of the body. To talk more about your options in liposuction, call Dr. Kincaid at his centrally-located Temecula office at 951-695-9934 and schedule your consultation today. The art of the perfect leg

Friday, November 9th, 2012

Great legs are certainly enviable, and if you’re one of the lucky few with fabulous gams, then we salute you, oh goddess of beautiful stature.

The rest of us born with ordinary legs admire you!

But in all seriousness, the perfect legs actually do exist according to a news article at The Daily Mail. The news source explains that the perfect legs have a combination of height, curvatures, and lines that draw the eye in and capture it – at least that’s what a plastic surgeon has come up with after spending 12 years on determining just what makes a perfect pair of legs.

The surgeon carries on to explain that beautiful legs are comprised of a curves only above and below the knee – sorry, no bulky knees here – which together sculpt a healthy and yet delicate, feminine leg. In addition, each leg must visually appear straight – so any bow-legged gal can bow out now.

“As soon as the column departs from the straight axis, it deviates from our perception of beauty,” the surgeon explained.

A concave curve above the ankle is a beautiful attribute alongside asymmetry on both the inside and outside of the leg. In other words, when it comes to beautiful legs, symmetry, which has been the gold standard of beauty, no longer holds true.

There’s no doubt that legs are an important part of the woman’s body. After all, with jeans being a fashion staple now and guaranteed for years to come, and bikini season a yearly event, it’s no wonder women all over the country and especially in San Diego are working hard to keep their legs looking fit, healthy, and sculpted.

For women who want to improve the appearance of their legs, there are cosmetic options available when working out and dieting aren’t enough. For example, for women with stubborn fat, liposuction is an excellent option in creating the necessary curvature for that sexy leg look. Or, for women with spider veins, some laser therapies are an ideal option.

Get more information about your options today by calling Dr. Kincaid at his centrally-located Temecula office at 951-695-9934. Liposuction considered top option for women in America

Wednesday, October 17th, 2012

Now more than ever, liposuction is a strong contender for women looking to improve their physical appearance. Sometimes, losing weight in certain areas is next to impossible for many women who simply can’t shed the pounds in difficult areas of the body. Areas like the buttocks, thighs, saddlebags, and even arms and tummy often hold on to stubborn fat. Liposuction helps reduce these areas and remove unwanted fat deposits.

According to reports, some patients are best suited for body contouring than others. Experts say that the type of fat contained within the body is a large indicator as to whether the procedure is a successful one.

Subcutaneous fat is the type of fat that lays just beneath the surface of the skin. This type of fat is fairly easily removed. Visceral fat, on the other hand, is contained deep within the body, mainly around organs and beneath the muscles. Liposuction or body contouring is not a good option for this kind of fat since it is so difficult to remove — exercise and dieting is the ideal choice in removing this kind of fat.

For many patients, however, liposuction is a great choice for those with both types of fat, especially when paired with a healthy diet and exercise. Because liposuction can reduce subcutaneous fat while dieting and exercise can remove visceral fat, many women are able to achieve the look they desire. Talk to a board certified surgeon to find out if you’re a good candidate for liposuction or body contouring.

According to the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, liposuction was one of the most popular procedures requested and completed by plastic surgeons in America.

For more information on liposuction, call Dr. Kincaid at his La Jolla office at 858-450-4199 and schedule your consultation today. If you’ve always wanted a slimmer figure especially in stubborn, hard to tone areas, Dr. Kincaid may be able to help. Give our offices a call today. Women seeking out curves in right places with buttocks augmentation

Saturday, October 6th, 2012

L. Jo… Kim Kardashian… Beyonce… these celebrities, whether loved or hated, all have one thing in common: a curvy figure, with a rear end to prove it.

Nowadays, pin thin is just not in anymore. Kate Moss used to be a celebrity model in the late 90s that many young women aspired to look like. But in the new millenium, the days of paper thin are long gone and women are in search for a body that’s healthy, curvy, and sexy. While some women opt for liposuction to fine-tune troublesome areas of the body, many have embraced their curves in all the right places.

Because a round read end has certainly gotten its fair share of press, whether it’s the latest celebrity to sport it, or clothing cut to flatter the buttocks, the fact of the matter is that curves are most certainly wanted assets, so to speak.

That’s why, now more than ever, women are opting for a buttocks augmentation where the butt is either lifted, shaped, or implanted to enhance the total body shape.

“I just knew that I was unhappy,” said one patient to the Toronto Sun. “And you know I did something for myself, something that did make me happy. And I feel great.”

The woman added, “So, at 49, I finally said: why not? It makes you feel a lot better, it’s esthetically nice, you look nicer in clothes.”

The procedure Kristina elected was an “S Curve Buttock Lift” surgery that does not involve implants, but rather uses transplanted fat to shape the rear into a curvier, more flattering bubble-shape.

There are multiple buttock procedures available ranging from liposuction to implants. What’s most important when researching the procedure is how your plastic surgeon in La Jolla stacks up.  Find a board certified surgeon who has experience in body surgeries and who can listen to your needs. You’ll want to find a doctor in La Jolla who can understand your needs.

Many women who undergo butt lifts or butt augmentations also consider:

Liposuction. As stated, it is a great complement to a butt lift because it can redistribute fat into more flattering areas.

Tummy tuck. Sometimes, the entire lower half of the body – from the waist down – can benefit form total body transformation. Many women opt for a tummy tuck to improve the body’s profile.

Lasers Become Hottest Beauty Tool

Sunday, September 23rd, 2012

The Botox phenomenon has attracted millions of men and women to the wonders of cosmetic procedures. With a few shots of gel under the skin, Botox can take years off a person’s face by removing wrinkles. Botox is a minimally invasive procedure, which is a big reason for its popularity, so it’s no surprise that other non-invasive procedures are growing in demand. Right now, facial laser treatments are the latest trend. The Globe and Mail says celebrities like Kim Kardashian are chatting about the procedures on talk shows.

Facial lasers like Erbium remove the top layer of skin tissue and stimulate collage under the surface. It’s used to treat brown spots, scarring, sun damage and fine lines on the face. Dermatologist Jaggi Rao, an associate clinical professor of dermatology at the University of Alberta, says most people need three to five sessions for the best results, but after that, the effects last for several years. Rao says it’s a great treatment for women of any age, but the younger crowd might get an added bonus. “By addressing minor anomalies such as fine lines early, you may be able to slow down their progression,” she says. “Despite the use of sun protection, the desire for smoother, thicker, tighter skin will always come into play.”

Francesca Zielinski, a Toronto resident, had the treatment done and says she plans to go back for round two. While she is excited about the treatment, she says the recovery process isn’t pretty. “Your skin looks pretty gnarly,” she recalls. “There’s no blistering, but you’re really, really red and it feels very rough. Then it starts peeling.”

While the procedure doesn’t leave a person picture-worthy for about a week, it’s one of the fastest-growing categories of non-invasive procedures, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. In the last decade the amount of people opting for laser rejuvenation treatments has grown by 173 percent. Vivian Diller, a clinical psychologist and the author of Face It: What Women Really Feel As Their Looks Change says, “There’s something understandably more appealing about making smaller, gradual changes that create the effect of looking healthy and the best we can for our age.”

It’s not just a hot trend in America, according to Diller the number of laser treatments is spiking in other countries. “It’s popular in Europe, in Scandinavia and in Asia,” she says. “What is that telling us about our culture? The concern I have is that there’s an enormous pressure on women of all ages to keep from looking like their natural selves.”

Some facial laser treatments are newer than others. A trained surgeon can help a patient select which treatment is best.
