Plastic Surgery Blog: Many are More Truthful About Weight

Women and weight loss3 Plastic Surgery Blog: Many are More Truthful About Weight

Are people more truthful about their weight these days?

A recent local article revealed that the gap is closing between what people say they weigh and what their true weight is. The obesity rate is currently at 27% and rising but many think that is a slight underestimate. The estimated obesity rate is at a startling 34%.  Some suggest that people don’t necessarily lie about their weight but rather they do not step on the scale as often as they should.

Overweight or obese people often don’t step on the scale because they are scared of what it might reveal. The same rule applies to many who don’t like photos being taken of them due to their image. Photographs don’t lie and its sometimes shocking to see that we are are not aging as beautifully as we hoped for. Dr.Stuart Kincaid offers before and after photos of patients who  have decided to undergo surgical procedures to diminish the results of aging. His facial procedures photo gallery shows just how miraculous plastic surgery can be in reducing the visible traits of aging.
